GREEN SPACE
Catherine’s Yard is super close to Victoria Park (just a 4 min walk under the railway bridge), which has plenty of space for running, dog walking, or just chilling. The smaller, but equally charming Dame Emily Park is also nearby – next to the swimming pool.
Ashton Court is a short walk or bike ride away, and offers acres of parkland to explore, including some great mountain bike trails.
You can also access the tow path along the Avon Gorge, and up Nightingale Valley into the beautiful Leigh Woods.
If you’re looking to get further away, Chew Valley Lake is a quick drive out past the airport, but feels a long way away from busy city life.
BEDMINSTER GREEN REGENERATION AREA
Catherine’s Yard is located within the Bedminster Green regeneration area. The area is being transformed with new housing, restoration of the River Malago, enhanced public spaces and improved public transport as well as new and improved cycle lanes.
East Street and Dalby Avenue have already seen significant change, with the opening of exciting new shops, restaurants and cafes, alongside well loved existing businesses.
